BEWARE OF FAKE DEBT COLLECTION CALLS AND EMAILS.

THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTION SCAM USING THE NAME OF AMERICAN CASH ADVANCE.

It has come to our attention that one or more individuals are posing as a third-party collection agency attempting to collect a debt from customers and non-customers on behalf of American Cash Advance ("ACA"). This is a SCAM in an attempt to scare you into paying money that you do not owe. Please use caution when speaking to someone claiming to be a debt collector.

We have reported this fraudulent activity to the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") and advise you to do the same.  Use the reference code 59816973 when contacting the FTC by phone at 1-877-438-4338 or online at www.ftc.gov and you will be linked to the pending investigation.

We DO NOT use third-party collection agencies and will not contact you via email for collections. We DO NOT offer loans online, therefore if you have never walked into one of our 42 locations in person and received a loan, you are being scammed. If you are unsure, please call our hotline and someone will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

What can you do to stay safe from a scam?

• HANG UP on the callers you believe to be falsely posing as debt collectors - DO NOT reply to emails that you believe to be falsely posing as debt collectors, DELETE these emails immediately.
• NEVER provide your credit card, bank account information, or personal identifying information over the phone or by email. DO NOT wire money to an individual you believe to be falsely posing as a debt collector.
• If you have any concerns, contact your local law enforcement agency.
